All of my co-workers wear Dansko shoes and I really didn't see what the big deal was, I personally thought they were too pricey for me. But I noticed that over the course of two years, I had went through at least 4 pairs of work shoes and they were still wearing their same Dansko shoes and they never complained of their feet hurting. WELL, the old saying holds true-you get what you pay for. I bought my first pair 4 weeks ago and I LOVE them. I bought a second pair two weeks later. In my recent past I would never have worn a clog. High end designer shoes were the only ones for me. I just began a retail position and Dansko shoes were recommended. I was pregnant with our first child and having sciatica problems. Walking, standing, and even sitting was painful. My husband and I stopped at REI to look around. I had heard about Dansko, so I decided to try a pair on. After getting my size, putting them on, and standing up; I was amazed. I couldn't even feel the pain. It was gone. I have been in them since Fall 2003. I love the styles of sandals, the colors of the clogs, and the comfort I get when I am wearing them. I can walk forever. I now have two boys. Your shoes, hands down, are the best thing I've ever done for my feet! As a nurse there are days that I am on my feet for as long as 17 hours and I can go to work and know that my feet won't hurt at the end of the day. A doctor told me I needed a better shoe for my feet. She suggested Dansko shoes, I had never heard of them. My first pair of Dansko shoes were black sandals and I needed them for a cruise; I wore them at home and thought they might need to be broken in! They were so comfortable that they didn't need to broken in!! I wore them on the cruise and walked around the ship for 5 - 6 hours and they never hurt my feet, I had to have more Dansko shoes! I am a server and have also been a chef/cook. I was turned on to your Professional Clogs by a coworker, and they truly are the most comfortable shoes I own! I am almost 50 years old and LOVE my one pair of DANSKO shoes that I have had for years. Because of Dansko shoes I can stay on my feet all day long in my classroom. All the floors in the classrooms are cement. When I first started teaching a couple of years ago I thought I would have to quit because my feet were literally throbbing with pain when I went home.
